RV CAMPING GUIDELINES

Frontline/Secondline RV Camping Guidelines

Do not arrive prior to the entrance time printed or stamped on your parking permit. You must be parked within two (2) hours of your designated entrance time. In the event of an emergency and you are unable to arrive within this time frame, please call Sharp Seating at 626/795-4171. We will attempt to make arrangements for you, but not guaranteed. You must vacate premises immediately following the Rose Parade unless otherwise stated on permit. No In and Out access is available.

  • Enter parking lot through address on your parking permit. Signs will be posted. Parking attendants will assist you to your reserved parking space. Your vehicle will be parked directly behind the sidewalk facing the parade route if you carry a Frontline permit. Secondline parks directly behind Frontline.
  • Space does allow for slide-outs. All units must be self-contained. Sanitation facilities will not be provided. There are no tents allowed in this area.
  • In compliance with the Pasadena Police Department, vehicles parked within one block of the parade route may be subject to search if there is a public safety concern. In appreciation of your compliance, the Department will present you with a commemorative sticker to place on the lower left side of your windshield. This will allow officers in passing police cars to recognize that you have registered with the Pasadena Police as a parade attendee, and are cooperating with community anti-terrorism and crime prevention efforts to enhance public safety.
  • Parade route closures will take effect beginning at 10:00 p.m. on December 31 through 2:00 p.m. on January 1 along Colorado Blvd. from Orange Grove to Sierra Madre and northbound Sierra Madre to Paloma.
  • You may view the parade from your vehicle or chairs may be placed at the sidewalk edge beginning at noon on December 31st. Public areas (sidewalks, curbs, gutters, streets) may not be cordoned or roped off. Police will remove all ropes. All viewers, chairs & belongings must remain on the curb until midnight. At that time, spectators may move out to the blue line. Unoccupied chairs are not allowed.
  • Do not bring upholstered chairs, couches, boxes, scaffolds, tents, horns, ladders or freestanding umbrellas; they will be confiscated. Folding chairs are acceptable.
  • Bonfires are strictly prohibited. Small, professionally manufactured barbeques elevated at least one foot off the ground are allowed.
  • There is a curfew law for those under 18 in effect from 10 p.m. December 31st to 5 a.m. January 1st. There must be a parent or guardian present.
  • No alcohol of any kind is allowed on the parade route. The legal drinking age in California is 21. Minors in possession of alcoholic beverages are subject to arrest along with the person who supplied it.
  • Do not throw items of any kind, including marshmallows and tortillas. Silly string, whipped cream and shaving cream are not allowed.
  • No animals, except for Trained Service Animals, will be allowed along the parade route.
  • Please note this is a non-refundable ticket. No refunds or exchanges.

RV Overnight Camping Guidelines
