Know Before You Go

Guidelines for Customers of Size

Width between the seats measures 18¼ inches. Customers who encroach upon any part of the neighboring seat(s) may proactively purchase the needed number of seats prior to event in order to ensure the additional seat(s) is available. This helps to ensure we can accommodate all customers on the grandstand for which they purchased a ticket and avoid asking customers to relinquish their seats for an unplanned accommodation. Most importantly, it ensures that all customers have access to safe and comfortable seating and a pleasant experience at the Rose Parade for everyone.
Guidelines for Customers with Accessibility Needs

Please alert our staff to any physical challenges anyone in your party may have so we can recommend the best seating and parking options for your parade viewing experience. Tickets for wheelchair accessible seating at grandstand locations are available and must be reserved prior to parade day. One companion ticket may be purchased with each accessible seat, some exceptions may apply. Accessible Seating is available in all price ranges.
Guidelines for Service Animals

California law allows persons with disabilities to bring trained service dogs and psychiatric service dogs, but not emotional support animals, to all public places. The ADA defines a service animal as a dog that is “individually trained” to “perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability.” The tasks a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. If the animal is not specifically trained to assist for the owner’s disability then it is not protected under ADA laws.
